He was predeceased by: his parents, Marian Egan and Raymond Egan; his brother William; and his nieces, Emily Egan and Genny Hayes.

He is survived by: his brother Edward Egan (Judy); his niece Kathryn; his sister Mary Hayes (Thomas); his niece Megan Joyce (Christopher); his great-nephews, Hunter and Elliott; his nephew Bryan Hayes (Sara); his great-nephews, Noah, Luke and Dylan; his sister Kathryn Morris (Richard); his nieces and nephews, Colleen, Timothy, Christopher and Elizabeth; his brother Thomas (Michele); his nephews, Andrew and James; and his niece Caroline.
