He was predeceased by : his parents, John E. Thomas and Bessy Mae Thomas (Clevenger); and his son Leland Steve Thomas. He is survived by : his wife Betty J. Thomas; his children, Barry R. Thomas (Karla) of Poolesville, MD and Vanda M. Danielsen (Jeff) of Lynch Station, VA; his grandchildren, Erin Thomas, Tonya Collins, Michelle Hong, Lauren Thomas and Ashley Balchik; and his great grandchildren, Ace Collins, Summer Collins, Kane Collins, Madison Collins and Maxwell Thomas.
