In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Venus had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Venus may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her father John Trusley; her husband James "Teddy Bear" Clark; her mother Stella Justice Trusley; her granddaughter Ashton Teglas; and her son-in-law Johnny Teglas.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Clark Teglas of Blacksburg and James Greggory Clark (Jon Clark Teglas) of Palmyra; and her sister Emma Jean Trusley Delph. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 12:45 PM. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the American Legion Cemetery (5015-5031 Powell Valley Rd, Big Stone Gap, VA 24219).
