He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert B. Martin and Isabelle M. Martin. He is survived by : his children, Bryan Allen Martin of Winchester, VA and Shawn P. Riester (Bill) of Richmond, VA; his brother Bentley W. Martin (Dale) of Lynchburg, VA; his grandsons, Raleigh Allen Martin of Winchester, VA and Samuel Stuart Martin of Winchester, VA; and his nephew Richard Gregory Martin. He is also survived by many extended family and cousins.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Trinity Methodist Church (1975 Trinity Rd, Concord, VA 24538).
