Jason Wayne wrote a sympathy message

“To Uncle Johnny, Aunt Beulah, Chuck and Susan I am so glad now Carla and I stopped to see Uncle Johnny and Aunt Beulah on our way to see a Christian concert in Lynchburg back in April. Because we also saw Brenda. I can still remember being a young child back in Henrico Co. When we lived in Crestwood apts that you guys stopped by to see My Dad and Mom and me. And of course Brenda loved to pinch my cheeks and hug me and as a 5 year old All girls had cooties whether they were cousins or not. But That was Brenda, She Loved everybody. And here it is 2018 and she had not changed a bit, The Last thing she did was tell me she loved me and gave me a hug and a kiss. Tears are falling as I write this. I remember Uncle Johnny when I got older you told me she was a special kind if girl, You could not have been more right. I could joke with her and she could always have one to come back at me with. I have 3 Grandchildren, Timothy 6, Raymond 4, and Allie 1 1/2. They Greatest compliment I could ever give to you is if o had ever needed someone to watch them, I would not have hesitated to leave them with you. Because you would have protected them with your life to keep them safe. And the Greatest hope I could have for my Grandchildren is that they have half the Heart you do .. And yes I use the word Do. Because I will see you again, Your beautiful Soul did not die, You just changed Residences. You are with Jesus now and soon When he comes back for us, We all shall be. I Love you Brenda, Save a pinch on the cheek for me. Love , Wayne and Carla.”
