David Lee Witt Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Lee Witt of Appomattox, Virginia, who passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, David shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid David farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Clayton Witt and Doris Imogene Hopkins Witt. He is survived by: his wife Harriet Corinne Malvaney; his children, LeeAnn Witt, Leslie Witt and Shawn Witt; his grandchildren, Addison, Aubrey, Aiden Witt and Grayson Cruz; and his brother Don Witt.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Quantico National Cemetery (18424 Joplin Rd, Triangle, VA 22172).
