He is survived by: his wife Wanda Ferguson Doss; his grandchildren, Ava Beckhouse and Chase Beckhouse; his son-in-law Chris Beckhouse; his brother Timmy Doss; his siblings-in-law, Sue M. Doss and Larry Ferguson (Tammy); and his nieces and nephews, Jessica D. Pack (Rick), Michelle D. Bryant, Travis Ferguson (Whitley) and Eric Ferguson (Katherine).
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial be made to New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, 6227 Old Courthouse Rd., Appomattox, VA 24522.
