He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Martin Wilkerson and Hubert Lester Wilkerson; his brother Charles L. Wilkerson; and his granddaughter Harper Grace Harrison. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Covington Wilkerson; his children, Brian Wilkerson (Wendy), Rodney Wilkerson (Lori), Michael Wilkerson and Valarie Harrison (Josh); his grandchildren, Juliana, Holly, Camden, Jack, Brady, Lola, Carly, Avery, Donovan, Danielle and Easton; and his sister-in-law Susan Jennings Wilkerson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Comfort Methodist Church (3189 Lime Plant Rd, Appomattox, VA 24522).
