He was predeceased by: his wife Josephine Piskorik Drinkard; his parents, Virginia Elizabeth Martin and Howlett Fuller Drinkard, Sr.; his siblings, Arlene D. Poss (Mike McGregor) of Texas and Howlett Fuller Drinkard Jr. (Arlene); and his niece Sherl Lynn Almond.
He is survived by: his brother William Clifton "Cliff" Drinkard of Appomattox, VA; his sibling's children, Tony Drinkard, Jay Poss (Jan), Allen Poss (Kristine), Ben Martin (Melinda) and Kimberly; Nita Moore (Darrell) and Robin Martin (Dan).
