The memory of Doreen Alice Parsons of Appomattox, Virginia, who passed away on May 9, 2025 at the age of 68, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Freda Hoxie and Clifford Hoxie; her sister-in-law Jerri Hoxie; her brother Frank Hoxie; her grandson-in-law Bradley Kidd Jr.; her great grandchild Braelynn Kidd; and her caregivers, Crystal, Debbie and Charlene.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Parsons, Sr.; her stepchildren, Bob Parsons Jr. (Shauna), Jessica Bromley (Ray) and Robin Parsons; her siblings, Donna Hall (David), Dane Hoxie (Susan), Cliff Hoxie (Bobbie) and Clinton Hoxie (Theresa); her grandchildren, Dalton, Aaron, Tori, Emily, Red, Timmy, Mariah, Karissa and Tasha; and her great grandchildren, Everleigh, Delainey, Dylan Jr., Greyson, Oliver and Camryn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Red Oak Baptist Church (5422 Oakville Rd, Appomattox, VA 24522). A reception will be held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Fellowship Hall.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Robinson Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses.
