She was predeceased by: her parents, William McKinley Austin and Mable Wheeler Austin. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Henry Walker; her sons, Emmanuel Walker and Charles Walker; her siblings, Samuel Austin, Sr., Colonel Austin, Dorothy Pannell, Rena Watts, Mary Nelson and Thelma Hancock; her children, Samuel D. Walker, Tina R. Walker and Richard A. Walker (Tamika Nater); and her siblings, Patricia (Patty), Frances, Louise, Nancy and Earl. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren; great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Promise Land Baptist Church (5562 Promise Land Rd, Appomattox, VA 24522). A burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at the same location.
