With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jeanette Goad Eagle of Appomattox, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 12, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Curtis Lyle Eagle, Sr.; and her parents, Mary Edna Day and James Blaine Goad. She is survived by: her son Curtis Lyle Eagle, Jr. (Cathryn) of Buckingham; her daughter-in-law Nancy Eagle of Pamplin; her grandchildren, Pamela Sommers (Madison) of Fernandina Beach, FL and Curt L. Eagle, III (Taylor Malcolm) of Lynchburg; her great grandchildren, Samantha Sommers and Shelby Sommers; and her sisters, Martha Ann G. Borger (Henry) of Maryland, Edna Mae Johnson of Appomattox, Bettie G. Bywater of Tyler, TX and Carolyn G. Dodson (Lee) of Lynchburg.
