She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel N. Thornhill and Lois Lawhorn Thornhill; and her husband Henry M. Stanley, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Wayne Stanley of Appomattox and Ralph Stanley (Neal Jones) of Richmond, VA; and her sister-in-law Mary Lou Stanley Ranson of Amherst.
