She was predeceased by: her father Alfred; her son Mark Drinkard of Appomattox, VA; her siblings, Margaret Monigold of Fayetteville, NC and Michael Daley of Terre Haute, IN; her siblings-in-law, Gail Slade (Pete) of Lynchburg, VA and Wayne Irby of Appomattox, VA; and her nephew Scott Dowen of Terre Haute, IN..
She is survived by: her husband Tommy S. Drinkard; her sons, Scott Drinkard of San Francisco, CA and Jeff Drinkard (Rebecca) of Appomattox, VA; her grandchildren, Heath of Appomattox, VA, Braden of Appomattox, VA, Emma of Appomattox, VA and Katie of Appomattox, VA; her great grandchild Leigha of Appomattox, VA; her sister Janie Renschler of Terre Haute, IN; her siblings-in-law, Debbie Daley of Terre Haute, IN, Marietta Irby of Appomattox, VA, Bob Monigold of Fayetteville, NC and E. B. Drinkard (Loretta) of Madison Heights, VA; and her close friends, Linda Phelps of Appomattox, VA and Norma Ray Moore of Appomattox, VA. She is also survived by aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Robinson Funeral Home (667 Court St, Appomattox, VA 24522). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Trinity Methodist Church (1975 Trinity Rd, Concord, VA 24538).
