With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Jacqueline Jamerson Ballowe of Appomattox, Virginia, who passed away on October 7, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph McLane Ballowe; her parents, Thomas Jackson Jamerson and Gertie Guill Jamerson; her son T. W. Ballowe; and her sister Barbara J. Guill.
She is survived by: her daughter Cathryn "Cat" B. Mobley (Larry); her daughter-in-law Marsha C. Ballowe; her grandchildren, Thomas Wayde Ballowe (Holly) and Becky J. Brown (Blake); her great grandchildren, Logan, Levi and Landon Ballowe; and her friends, Lawrence and Eleanor Johnson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Robinson Funeral Home (667 Court St, Appomattox, VA 24522). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Spout Spring Baptist Church (5065 Salem Rd, Spout Spring, VA 24593).
