He is survived by: his wife Dianne Smith Cook; his sons, William Dwayne Cook of Concord and Terry Wayne Cook of Appomattox; and his sisters, Mary Ann Cronk of Farmville and Sharon Caldwell (Kent) of Crewe. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Friendship Baptist Church (127 Woodlawn Trl, Appomattox, VA 24522).
