He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Steuart Drinkard; his parents, Virginia Elizabeth Martin Drinkard and Howlett Fuller Drinkard Sr.; his daughter Sherl Lynn Almond; his granddaughter Rebecca Catherine Almond; and his siblings, Howlett Fuller Drinkard Jr. (Arlene), Donald Lee Drinkard (Josephine) and Arlene D. Poss (Mike McGregor).
He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly D.; his granddaughter Holly; his great grandchildren, Knox Hutchins, Grace Nash, Olivia Nash, Kollyns Goodman, Elaine Willoughby, Burks Almond and Beau Almond; his close friend Burnette; Nita Moore (Darrell), Robin Martin (Dan), Ben Martin (Melinda), McKenna, Kendell, Mary Beth Wilbun (Matt), Jordan Goodman (Tristan), Macy Willoughby (Arthur), Molly Grantham (Mitchell), Justin Peeler, Josie Toews (Isaac) and Jacob Almond (Kasey). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
