She is survived by: her children, Miranda Tate (Brandon), Virginia Niten and James Niten (Ashley); her stepsons, Robert McAdams (Jennifer Hunley) and Steven McAdams; her son Jacob Speas (Jasmine Bowman); her grandchildren, Bethany Tate, Colton Tate, Logan Niten, Marleigh Niten, Magdaline Niten, Brody McAdams and Leila Speas; her brothers, Daniel Lawson, CJ Lawson and Bennie Lawson (Gayle); and her close friends, Melanie Collins and Michelle Landers. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moody Funeral Services (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Moody Funeral Chapel in Mt. Airy. A burial was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Lawson Family Cemetery.
