Barbara June Stowers Cooper Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara June Stowers Cooper of Arcola, Virginia, who passed away on July 16, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Terry Stowers; her husband Carlton Edison Cooper; her mother Thelma Rose Hall Stowers; and also Terry Franklin Stowers. She is survived by: her children, Kaylee Cooper Long, Karla Cooper Garrett (Don Garrett), Karlton Cooper (Monica Cooper) and Katrina Cooper Miller (Ken Miller); her grandchildren, Christopher Long (Holly Baxter), Denise Foreman (Sharir Foreman), Scott Long (Allison Mcall), Kory Cooper (Kristy Cooper), Katie Long, Cody Long, Samuel Garrett and Ben Garrett; and her great grandchildren, Jayden Baxter, Madison Harlow, Kassidy Cooper and Kolden Cooper.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hall Funeral Home (140 S. Nursery Ave., Purcellville, VA 20132). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lovettsville Union Cemetery (12930 Lutheran Church Rd, Lovettsville, VA 20180).
In Lieu of flowers the family kindly request that donations be made in Barbara June's memory to the Down Syndrome Association of Southern Maryland.
