He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Downing Bernard and Albert R. Bernard, Sr.. He is survived by: his brother Robert D. Bernard; his nephews, Thomas Bernard and Steven Bernard (Michele); his niece Kristin Bernard West; and his great-nephews, Trevor, Connor Bernard, Benjamin Caramico (Daniella), Liam and Carter West.
