She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Hardin and Marie Hardin (Childress); and her husband Benjamin H. Bailey, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Lynn Saxton (Rich) of Warsaw, NY and Elizabeth Bramham (Greg) of Arlington, VA; her grandchildren, Laura Gardner (Will) of Fairhaven, MA, Melissa English (Sean Murphy) of Washington, D. C. and Henry Bramham (Hana Arai) of Washington, D. C.; her great grandchildren, Miles Gardner, Lena Gardner and Sydney Murphy; her brother Herman C. Hardin, Jr. of Richmond; and her caregiver Flor Burdick.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the The Jefferson (900 N Taylor St, Arlington, VA 22203).
Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church (1500 N. Glebe Rd., Arlington, VA 22207), St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the American Cancer Society, or a charitable organization of your choice in lieu of flowers.
