He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Henry Lederer, Sr. and Regina Lederer; his sisters, June and Elsie Mae; and his grandson Daniel Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Helen; his sister Lillian; his son Charles "Chuck" Henry Lederer, IV (Terry); and his stepsons, Carlin (Kim), Dan (Glenda) and Christopher (Maria). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Murphy Funeral Home (4510 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA 22203). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Murphy Funeral Home Potomoc Chapel (4510 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA 22203). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Columbia Gardens Cemetery (3411 Arlington Blvd, Arlington, VA 22201).
