Dudley Eugene Altizer Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dudley Eugene Altizer of Arlington, Virginia, who passed away on July 29, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Altizer and Alton Altizer; and his siblings, Alma Heiser and Ervin Altizer. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Altizer; his daughters, Cindy Duncan and Wendy Osteguin; his sons-in-law, Jimmy Duncan and Carlos Osteguin; his grandchildren, Michael Duncan, Megan Griggs, Nicholas, Matthew, Emily and Daniel Osteguin; his great grandchildren, Jackson Griggs, Madison Griggs and Carter Duncan; and his sisters, Betty Jane Garneau and Charlotte Mullins. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Gene's name.
