She is survived by: her daughter Renee Stancill Bayes (James) of Arlington; her grandsons, Michael Bayes (Audra) of Warrenton, VA and Adam Bayes (Haley) of Charlotte, NC; her great grandchildren, Samuel, Abigail Bayes of Warrenton, VA, Gemma, Graham and Grace Bayes of Charlotte, NC.; her stepdaughter Vickie Whaley of Kinston, NC; her stepgrandchildren, Cristina Randolf (Tyler) of Scotland Neck, NC and Brannon Whaley of Kinston, NC; and her stepgreat-granddaughter Raegan Rando of Scotland Neck, NC.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Evergreen Memorial (5971 Dudley Rd, Grifton, NC 28530). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
