He is survived by: his parents, Rick Day and Jill Day; his children, River and Zoe; his wife Megan Hawkins Day; his brother Ross; his sister-in-law Meredith Day; his nieces and nephews, Emery and Brady; his siblings-in-law, Alison and Geoffrey Lorenz; his nieces and nephews, Avery, Christopher, Maren and Miles; his parents-in-law, Sherron Harward and John Hawkins; and his pet Benny. He is also survived by family members and friends.

They had the absolute time of their lives going to concerts, eating amazing food, hiking, biking, swimming, exploring, watching sunsets and moonrises, hosting and attending house parties (pandemic pals!), grilling, and dancing or snuggling the nights away — and they reunited with and met some wonderful lifelong friends.
