He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Long and Nora Long; his siblings, James Long and Elizabeth Long; and his in-laws, Jesse and Ernestine Haley.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Haley Long; his children, Jessica Kovalcik (John), Corine Barber (Robby) and Travis Long (Carmen); his grandchildren, Archer Knox (James), Haley Barber and Madison May (Wesley); and his sibling's children, Lynn Cauthorne of Nora Cannon, B. J and Jimmy Long.
