She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood R. Dawson and Frances Fones Dawson. She is survived by: her sons, Timothy Wade Douglas of Spotsylvania and Keith Montaque Douglas of Chicago; her grandchildren, Ashley Raye Buchanan (Brian), Damien Douglas and Hanna Douglas; her great grandchildren, Emma Raye Buchanan and Landon Buchanan; her brother Lewis Dawson; and her sister-in-law Bobbie Dawson.
