We announce the death of Phyllis Victoria Harmeyer in Arlington, Virginia, who passed away on August 13, 2026, at the age of 85. Phyllis will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She is survived by: her husband George Herbert Harmeyer; her son George William Albert Harmeyer (Tracy Kay Harmeyer); and her sister Kathleen Bancroft (Jerry). She is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Army/Navy Country Club (1700 Army Navy Dr, Arlington, VA 22202).
