In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Robert Gordon leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Robert Gordon may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Trice Kay and Mattie Wright Kay. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Galyen Kay; his daughter Linda Kay Tate; his son-in-law Eddie Tate; his son Robert Kay, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Judy Kay; his grandson Mark Tate; his granddaughter-in-law Amy LeMaster Tate; and his great grandchild Bristol Tate. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Carmel Baptist Church.
