With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Thomas Henry Wright of Arlington, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Thomas Henry left this world on June 20, 2025 at the age of 73, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Wright and Francis Wright; his son Tyler Wright; and his brother Steve Wright. He is survived by: his wife Dare; his children, Jessica Howard (Andy) and Doug Cooper (Jeanie); his daughter-in-law Jennifer Wright-Akers (Josh); his grandchildren, Allison Mauck (Dalton), Kelsey Perrin (Brandon), Kassidy Stanley and Kolby Cooper; his great grandchildren, Bryce Mauck, Evie Perrin, Bentley, Emy and Naomi Stanley; his grandchildren, Karleigh and Kaleb Akers; and his siblings, Sandra Fields (Beady), Lee Wright (Denise) and Jimmy Wright (Cindy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended friends and family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Storke Funeral Home (111 S Main St, Bowling Green, VA 22427). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bowling Green Baptist Church (225 N Main St, Bowling Green, VA 22427). A burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at the Lakewood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Appendix Cancer Research Foundation (acpmp.org), which the family supported in memory of Tyler.
