He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Robert B. Jordan; his parents, Woodrow Klinger and Catherine Klinger; Dorothea Rauch, Blaine Shaffer, Seth and Brian Shaffer of Northumberland, PA.. He was also cherished by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws.
After retiring from the federal governement, he volunteered for the American Cancer Society taking patients to treatment programs and medical appointments who did not have the resources to transport themselves.
