Doris Shifflett Lohr Haney Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Shifflett Lohr Haney of Aroda, Virginia, who passed away on September 30, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Clark Shifflett and Dora Collier Shifflett Knighting; and her siblings, Steve Shifflett and Kathy Hale. She is survived by: her husband George Wayne Haney; her children, Connie Lohr Sisler (Mike), Brent Lohr (Heidi) and Chad Lohr (Karen); her grandchildren, Michael Ryder, Becca Ryder, Kaelan Jordan, Aynsley Lohr, Holland Lohr, Hazell Lohr, Addyson Lohr and Hatcher Lohr; her great grandchildren, Hayden Mundy, Ryder Mundy and Logan Painting; her stepdaughters, Leslie Haga (Jason) and Kristi Fitzgerald (Randy); her stepgrandsons, Caleb Haga, Bryce Fitzgerald and Myles Fitzgerald; and her siblings, James Shifflett (Sue), George Shifflett (Cindy), Debbie Lauria (Tom), Ricky Shifflett (Jan) and Chris Knighting. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Good Hope Baptist Church (2930 Beautiful Run Rd, Radiant, VA 22732). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
