With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lois (Swanson) Hawk of Arvonia, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Swanson and Mary Ada Swanson (Birkhead); and her siblings, Charles, Dick, David Swanson, Mae Brittain, Gayle Kidd and Maxine Drumheller.
She is survived by: her children, Jason Hawk (Patty), Jennifer Hawk (Jason) and Patricia Thompson (Pedro); her grandchildren, Sarah, Savannah, Jackson, Austin Hawk, Killian Nuckols, Cade Milbrath, Haley (Corey) and John Thompson (Tori); and her sister Janet Toney (John). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, mom's final request was for contributions be made to someone that she held very dear to her heart.
