It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Barton Gardiner of Ashburn, Virginia, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on April 3, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her former husband Joseph W. Gardiner, III; her parents, Gale Barton and Helen Barton; her husband Joe Gardiner; and her children, Gale Gardiner of Farmington, CT, Rev. Randolph Gardiner (Kathy) of Denton, TX, Joseph W. Gardiner IV of Culver City, CA, Judith Boyd (Doug) of Sterling, VA and Amanda Swann (Phil) of Van Nuys, CA. She was also cherished by 5 grandchildren (4 in-laws) and 4 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
