It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Italia Trombino Palermo of Ashburn, Virginia, who passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Italia's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Italia's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Agapito Trombino and Giuseppina Trombino; her husband Luciano Palermo; and her siblings, Anna, Laura and Vincenzo.

She is survived by: her children, Nancy Bonnette (Bob) of Sterling, VA, Ermanno Palermo (Penny) of Ashburn, VA and Massimo Palermo (Amy) of Austin, TX. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
