James W. Tait Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2025, at the age of 92, James W. Tait (Ashburn, Virginia) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James W. Tait to pay them a last tribute.
As James departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved James. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his father John Raymond Tait; his brothers, John Raymond Tait Jr. and Martin Albert Tait; and his sister-in-law Sandra Jean Tait. He is survived by: his sister Rosemary Elizabeth Thietje; and his children, James Tait II (Lori) of Ashburn, VA, Terri McGinnis (Jim) of Oak Hill, VA, Michael Tait (late Lisa) of Montclair, VA, Susan Yantis (Geri) of Clifton, VA and Jennifer Mayhew (William) of Rustburg, VA.. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
