She was predeceased by: her parents, William F. Makely and Rosalyn Makely. She is survived by: her husband Matthew Cottrill; her sons, Robert and Christopher; her daughter-in-law Robin; and her grandchildren, Nick (Felicia), Colleen and Emma.

In recent years, her Alzheimer's progressed but she loved to see and hear her children and grandchildren.
