We announce the death of David Wayne Bogar of Ashland, Virginia, who passed away on October 31, 2026, at the age of 68. He was predeceased by: his former wife Peggy Louise Bogar; his parents, Hazel Bogar and Chessie Bogar; and his siblings, Garland Bogar, Marvin Bogar and Betty Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Bogar; his children, Nate Bogar, Tina Webster (Greg), Ray Terrell (Beth) and Tony Terrell (Angela); his grandchildren, Dylan, Logan, Anthony and Brantley; and his sisters, Linda Bowles and Barbara Dawson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hunton Baptist Church (11660 Greenwood Rd, Glen Allen, VA 23059). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Signal Hill Memorial Park (12360 Hanover Courthouse Rd, Hanover, VA 23069).
