She was predeceased by: her parents, Rena Mae Childs-Poindexter and Alex Poindexter Jr.; her husband Phillip Holland; her son Jason Holland; and her sisters, Beatrice Alfreda Poindexter and Essie Deloris Bookurn.
She is survived by: her siblings, Rena Francine Poindexter and Jamial Abdul Kareem; her children, Derrick, Tawana and Tara; and her niece Ebony. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mt Gilliam Baptist Church (4641 Chalklevel Rd, Louisa, VA 23093). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
