He was predeceased by: his father Gilbert C. Minor; and his wife Lois. He is survived by: his cousins, Joseph and Laura; his children, Gladys Carson, Cynthia Winston (Raymond), Gilbert Minor, Jr. (Vivian), Larry Johnson, Reginald Johnson, Victor Minor, Sonja Lawson (Wayne), Sheryl Brown (Kevin), Bryan Minor (Marsha), Walton Minor (Katina) and Sean Minor; and his sisters-in-law, Helen Claiborne, Frances Glover (Edward), Yvonne Akins, Louise Young, Patricia Young and Gwendolyn Young. He is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren.
