He was predeceased by: his parents, Dora and William; and his siblings, William Ray Mills and Betty May Gay. He is survived by: his wife Janice; his daughters, Jessie Stickles (Kevin) and Elizabeth Slaughter (Jonathan); his grandchildren, Carter, Connor, Cullen and Leah; his sister Bertie Ann; his siblings-in-law, Jean, Kim, Susan, Shannon, Ed, Calvin and Steve; and his grandson Chace. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
