He was predeceased by: his parents, William Mauney and Marjorie Mauney; and his siblings, Joyce Brown, Sarah Duncan, William Mauney, Norma Faye Draucker and Tommy Mauney.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary "Rosie" Mauney; his children, Robert "Robbie" Mauney Jr. (Kim), Michelle Agostino (Gus) and Susan Brooking (Todd); his grandchildren, Justin Mauney (Amber), Jacob Agostino (Sophie), Emma Brooking, Abby Conner (Jackson), Hannah Agostino, Rachel Mauney and Ethan Brooking; and his great grandchildren, Madelyn, Monroe and Graham.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nelsen Funeral Home (412 S Washington Hwy, Ashland, VA 23005). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
