With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen August Novak (Ashland, Virginia), who passed away on July 6, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith Novak and Steve Novak; his sister Christine McIlwee; his grandparents, Ida and Cleveland Thomas; his great-niece Sara Bruehl; and his great-nephew Michael Lamb.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen Novak, Jennifer Toms (Tracy) and Julie Rodriguez (Simon); his grandchildren, Scott, Savannah Toms, Chante Truehart, Khalid (Karisma), Kaden Peters, Manny and Jesenia Cruz; his great grandchild Nova Thomas; and his sister Margaret Lamb.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nelson Funeral Home (412 S Washington Hwy, Ashland, VA 23005). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
