“Nelson was one of my favorite people in Ashland. We bonded over shared political experiences in different venues (Chatham NJ vs Ashland). I was especially proud (but not surprised) to learn that he was a rabble rouser at RMC back in the 60's calling for the school to be racially integrated. I love that he started the Hanover Mens group and I attended most of those meetings - we always shared a good laugh. He had a great heart and will be sorely missed!! Jim Foley”
