With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Deane Wilson of Ashland, Virginia, who passed away on February 11, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though William Deane may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those William Deane touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Wilson and Rhoda Wilson; and his siblings, Jan Laughridge (John), Ruth Caldwell, Ron Wilson (Ruby) and Beryl King (Robert).
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Wilson; his children, Chandra Brabson and Dana Atkinson (Lyle); his grandchildren, Hailey Atkinson and Grant Brabson; and his sister Margaret Young (Milton). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
