He was predeceased by : his father Thomas George; his wife Gail Bailey McCord; and his sisters, Dorotha Mae Haught of Fairmont, Elizabeth Joan Davis of Tunnelton, Faye Louise Musick of Morgantown and Norma Jean Francis of Broadway.
He is survived by : his children, Ronald Lee McCord, Jr. (Laurice) of Knoxville, Tenn. and Sandra Kay Yonts (James, Jr.) of Marion Va; his grandchildren, Meagan Waddell, Austin McCord, Emalee McCord, James Yonts III, Christopher Yonts and Jason Yonts; his great grandchildren, Elijah Crone, Emerald Crone, Grayson Yonts and Sophia Yonts; and his caregivers, Meghann Reynolds, Willa Sheets and Carol Hall. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
