He is survived by: his nephew Royce "Puggie" Townsend; his children, Jermaine Ayres (Carlisa) and Yashica "Shica" Hope; his stepdaughter Chanta Marshall (Kalen); his siblings, Floyd "Ricky" Townsend (Robin), William "Bill" Townsend (Deborah), Shirley "Babydoll" Townsend, Ruth "Connie" Townsend and Grenda "Tinie" Townsend-Hudson (Reginald); his aunts, Martha Marlo Townsend, Emma Taylor, Brenda Fosque, Rosie Lee Dickerson and Barbara Jenkins (Vergil); James Townsend (Gloria). He is also survived by nine granddaughters; three grandson; one great-grandson.
