It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Larry Allen Pickett of Austinville, Virginia, who passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Pickett and Bonnie Burnette Pickett; his siblings, Wayne Pickett, Terri Pickett Marshall and Danny Pickett; and his brother-in-law Herman Brinkley.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Rotenizer Pickett; his children, Heather Snow (Mitchell) and Josh Pickett (LeAnn); his grandchildren, Hannah Frazier (Cory), Caleb Hill, Hudson Pickett, Logan Pickett, Meaghan Snow and Morgan Snow; his great grandchild Andi Frazier; his siblings, Sandra Brinkley, Joe Pickett (Debbie), Dusty Pickett (Malette), Robin Bond, Jeff Pickett (Tammy) and Lisa Lawson (Jerry); and his siblings-in-law, Janice R. Pickett, Kim Pickett and Roger Rotenizer (Rita). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Quesinberry-Bobbitt Cemetery (263 Greenberry Rd, Fancy Gap, VA 24328).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Skyview Missionary Baptist Church or Hillsville Pentecostal Holiness Church.
