He was predeceased by : his parents, S. Maynard Brown and Violet Virginia Young Brown; and his siblings, Frances Mayes, Alice Hale, Betty Ann Bolling and Curtis Allen Brown.
He is survived by : his wife Phyllis B. Brown; his daughters, Tammy Foley (Ronald) and Michelle Norris (David); his siblings, Louise Hall, Avis Huston, Gail Peters, Marilyn Brown, Gordon T. Brown (Leona), Brady Lee Brown (Wanda) and Jewitt Brown (Mickey); and his grandchildren, Amber Foley, Jessica Moyer (Johnathan), Ronald Foley, II, Christian David Norris (Jenna) and Harrison Neff Norris (Kristen). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Norris Funeral Services & Crematory - Martinsville Chapel (1500 Kings Mountain Rd, Martinsville, VA 24115). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
