He is survived by: his wife Peggy Plybon Joyce; his children, Patricia J. Young (Robert) of Axton, Virginia, Ricky D. Joyce (Janine) of Axton and Robert "Bobby" Joyce (Brenda) of Morganton; his sister Dorothy Hairfield of Axton, Virginia; his grandchildren, Brittany Joyce, Jessica Joyce, Katlyn Joyce, Bradley Joyce, Jeremy Warren (Jenna), Joshua Warren, Hannah Young, Derrick Young and Jordan Young (Amanda); and his great grandchildren, Kolton Winebarger, Max Warren, Greyson Frost and Greyson Hodges. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
